Profile:

Toshinori Ozaki graduated from Graduate School of Science, University of Hokkaido in 1988 and moved to Department of Developmental Biology, National Institute of Basic Biology (NIBB) as a Postdoctoral Fellow in 1988. After that, he moved to Department of Developmental Biology, Imperial Cancer Research Fund (ICRF) in 1989. He returned to Japan at Chiba Cancer Research Institute as a researcher in 1990. He became visiting associate professor, Department of Molecular Biology and Oncology, Graduate School of Medicine, Chiba University in 2005.

Comments/Future dream:

I want to find out a novel strategy to overcome the drug-resistant phenotype of certain tumor cells. I also focus my attention on the assistance of young students to be professional scientists.
